How Skills Work in Auto-Combat
Auto-Combat follows the exact sequence of skills you have set up.
Example:
Skill Sequence: 2 → 3 → 4
The problem occurs when one of the skills in this sequence has a very high cooldown.
Example of cooldown times:
- Skill 2 → quick cooldown
- Skill 3 → quick cooldown
- Skill 4 → cooldown of 120 seconds
What Auto-Combat does when it encounters a blocked skill
When it's time to use skill 4, Auto-Combat checks:
“Is the skill ready?”
- YES: It uses the skill normally.
- NO: It STOPS everything and waits for the cooldown to finish.
In other words:
Auto-Combat does not skip blocked skills.
It pauses the sequence until the skill is ready.
Practical Example
Configured sequence: 2, 3, 4
Skill 4 has a 120-second cooldown.
What happens today:
- Auto-Combat uses skill 2
- Auto-Combat uses skill 3
- When it reaches skill 4, it is blocked
- Auto-Combat waits for the 120s cooldown
- When skill 4 is ready, it uses it
- Only after that, it returns to skill 2 and restarts the sequence
What the player should do to try to work around this
Since Auto-Combat pauses when it encounters a high cooldown skill, the player should create longer sequences to balance the time until the final skill is ready.
Example:
Skill Sequence: 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3, 4
